New artificial intelligence (AI) methods, represented by deep learning, have developed rapidly in the past decade. In addition to exhibiting intelligence levels comparable to humans in information processing fields such as speech and image recognition, they have also shown great potential for technological innovation in many scientific computing fields such as quantum physics and biomedicine.
AI for Science is widely regarded as the next generation paradigm of scientific computing, capable of effectively processing simulated and real data in multiple dimensions, modalities, and scenarios, solving complex deduction and computation problems, and accelerating the discovery of new scientific problems.
The research of the research team members involves AI algorithms, AI large-scale model applications, and the integration of supercomputing and intelligent computing. They have achieved good results in the fields of super intelligent fusion application frameworks and software, weather forecasting methods that integrate AI, and AI+remote sensing.
